• Squarespace is a website building platform and hosting company similar to other platforms you may have heard of such as Shopify, Wix or Wordpress. My preference is Squarespace due to it’s user friendly interface for clients to manage once handed over!

  • As with all hosting providers there is a monthly or an annual hosting fee.

    You can have a look at Squarespace’s current pricing on their website, most people require a Business Plan or Basic Commerce Plan but if you are opting for our one page Simple Start-up site you may only need a Personal Plan. Please note that the prices shown are not inclusive of VAT. Plus if you choose to work with me you can get 20% of your first year hosting!

    Please note that this cost and the cost of your domain registration is separate to my website design fee.

  • Yes, we can take care of linking your existing domain name to your new website, however if you do not yet own a domain we can also recommend where you can purchase this or purchase and get this set up for you.

    As with the hosting fee please note the cost of a domain is also separate to my website design fee.

  • First of all we would love to meet you. We can do this the old fashioned way (face to face) or via zoom. During our free consultation we'll find out more about you and your business and where you are heading. We will spend the time discussing the content you'd like to include and any additional extras that you might need. You'll be given the chance to ask us those all important questions and have the time to consider all your options. If you'd like to work with me, we'll then ask for a deposit to get you firmly booked in my design diary.

  • Once we have set a date in the diary to get started on your project, and have been through the contract, you will receive an invoice for your 50% deposit. Then, when the project is complete you will receive an invoice for the remaining 50%. This will all be written out in our contract.

  • Currently I usually require between 2-4 weeks notice to book a project but if you need something sooner please get it touch as it will depend on the size of the project and package that you are interested in.

  • Yes, you will need to provide branding for your website. Alternatively if you do not have this I can put you in touch with someone lovely who can help, or if you just starting your business and are not yet ready for this I can create a ‘wordmark’ logo for you that can be used on your website and other social media channels.

    Please note there will be a small extra cost for the ‘wordmark’ logo.

  • You are always going to be the best person to sell your business which is why we recommend that you write your own copy. When you put down a deposit on a design package you will receive a guide on how to do this. However, we understand that this is not for everyone so we provide a copywriting service at an additional cost where we will work alongside you to create your copy if this is your preferred approach.

  • Once we have you in the diary I will guide you through exactly what I need from your and how you can prepare this.

    You will receive a copy of my client questionnaire and access to your own Client Portal where you can upload all of the information required. This will include supplying me with the content (text, images and any legal documents) for your website.

    If you are working with a copywriter, brand designer and photographer you can also provide them with access to your Client Portal or upload the files yourself.

    If not and you are D-I-Y-ing the text and images for your website you will receive help with how to do all of this in the guides you receive upon paying your deposit.

  • Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms & Conditions (or any other legal documents you might require).

    These need to be supplied by you. I can recommend template services or generators should you need these.

    Branding and Logo Design (unless you have asked for a wordmark logo at an additional cost).

    Copywriting and Copyediting is not included as part of your package but can be provided at an additional cost. Please enquire if you are interested in this.

    Squarespace hosting, domain name or email fee these are additional costs which need to be purchase prior to starting you project. Please ask if you need any help with this.

  • No, I work with international clients from all over the world but am based in the UK. If you are from overseas please get in touch and we can make a plan to chat that works for both our time zones!

  • Once live we will provide a tutorial for you about using and editing your website. If something goes wrong when you are editing your site we can help for an hourly fee.

    Alternatively you can purchase our monthly maintenance package.
